Anonymous Story

In Honduras an HIV diagnosis can determine university acceptance, job acceptance, entry into the military, harsh discrimination and stigma, apartment approval and more. Those are just a few of the reasons that the faces of HIV are often anonymous or hidden. Anonymous, in this case, equals safety. Even though the face of HIV can be anyone, because HIV does not discriminate, it is often safer for individuals to conceal their status. For this reason we are respecting this brave individual’s privacy.
